BURLESQUE bombshell Dita Von Teese has met fans and launched her new lingerie collection in South Yarra this morning.
Flanked by models of various sizes, the burlesque queen plugged her lingerie range, Von Follies by Dita Von Teese, at Chapel Street’s Urban by Target store.
“Glamour doesn’t have a size or shape or ethnicity,” she said.
Wearing a glamorous purple wrap, sheer back seam stockings and lace Christian Louboutin heels, Ms Von Teese admitted she was “obsessed’ with vintage overwire plunge circle bras.

Burlesque In The Café City
The sultry, glamour queen is set to appear in Melbourne next week for a week-long tour of fashion, burlesque and lingerie.
The world renowned burlesque performer Dita Von Teese’s visit to Melbourne will not be a lazy one.
She is in town to advertise her new range of lingerie, Von Follies at Target, as well as a couple of catwalk appearances with the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. She will also be making time to see a burlesque performance at Melbourne’s famous Spiegeltent.
Right now, though, Dita is enjoying the sights and sounds of France, tweeting very recently: “Bonjour, Paris!”
Dita is an enigmatic figure, known for her glamour and her enchanting, confident manner.

BRIGHT red lipstick and floral frocks were the order of the day as fans of burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese flocked to David Jones for the launch of her Muse collection.
The diminutive star appeared before the adoring crowd wearing a figure-hugging floral dress and her trademark towering heels. More than 150 people gathered to welcome her, with some crying and others shouting out marriage proposals.
Von Teese’s collection features five vintage-inspired pieces including a velvet dress, a tulle-layered trench coat and a one-shoulder piece which Von Teese will wear to Flemington at Derby Day tomorrow.
