Lingerie is Playboy’s most popular special edition. Publication began in 1984, as the Book of Lingerie. It became bimonthly from November 1988 and it’s title was changed to Lingerie in September 2002.

Promotional Items for Dita’s 1998 Calendar

Details & Extras: As mentioned in Encore (USA) August, 1997, Dita released a 16-month calendar in 1998. Funnily enough, I don’t actually have the calendar itself, just these promo items: a magazine ad, a double sided dita.net promo card and a small double sided poster.

The calendar is described as “A Tribute To Pin-Up Queen Bettie Page,” with photography by Kim Mizuno. From what I can gather, this specific ‘Black Pearl Productions’ is no longer running.

Regarding the photographer, Mizuno is a Playboy, celebrity and fashion photographer. I think he shot a lot of Dita’s playboy work in the 1990′s; Book of Lingerie, etc. I will be posting some scans of that work in the future.
