Reca Group is one the world’s largest producers of luxury accessories, packaging, accents, and trimmings. Dita Von Teese was the face of the company’s 50th anniversary, with two photoshoots entitled Sacred Love and Profane Love. Art Director for the photoshoots was Antonio Salzano, with photography by Luca Manfredi.
Print advertisements were published in various sector magazines. The Reca Group website lists the industry magazines their seasonal campaigns run in. I became aware of this campaign when I found a small promotional item on eBay that included a woven rosary and a playing card sized Sacred Love pamphlet. There are more ingenious little promotional items such as this, as shown above, but they’re very rare. I think they were probably sent out to clients and press. Way more interesting than a press release.
There is a photo of Dita with the Reca Group staff, but it’s tiny.
