InStyle: Dita Von Teese’s Vintage-Inspired Collection: Available Now
August 27, 2012

Seductress Dita Von Teese is bringing a little sex appeal to vintage wear! The burlesque star teamed up with Los Angeles designer vintage shop Decades to create the Dita Von Teese Collection, a line of all-black designs (sizes 4 to 16) mined from her own vintage finds. The full-skirted trench ($899) is one of our favorites. “Throw it on with a scarf or a jeweled pin,” she told InStyle of the classic silhouette. “Or add just a garter belt underneath and use it as a tool of seduction!” Ooh la la! Click through the gallery below to see the rest of the pieces, and scoop up your own at shopdecadesinc.com—InStyle readers get 20% off! Just enter “InStyle” at checkout. Plus, see the collection featured on page 170 of our September issue, available on newsstands and for your tablet now.

I had planned to wait until my copy arrived, but Storemags & Fantamag have released a pdf of this issue. So here are their scans!

Dita Von Teese chronicles a week’s working vacation at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island for InStyle magazine. Photographer Lionel Guyou captured Dita modelling her vintage swim and playsuit collection.

This set of photos is separate from the Maldives Portraits by Tom Pietrasik. The latter, taken in 2009, is available through the members section of dita.net. A selection of low resolution, tagged portraits are also viewable at the photographer’s website.
