Lufthansa Woman’s World is a German lifestyle magazine for frequent-flyer businesswomen. Lufthansa is a German airline. GoSee previews a recent issue featuring Dita Von Teese as a guest contributor. I’ve also included 17 extra shots from the photo shoot by Gabor Ekecs.

“Dita von Teese’s Los Angeles, Ute Lemper’s New York and Margareita Missoni’s Milan: female style icons present their very own personal view of the city in Woman’s World – that is the driving idea behind the concept of G+J Corporate Editors for the ‘Woman’s World’ Lufthansa publication. Each issue, one of the ladies will guide the readers through the city she chooses to call home.

The magazine is aimed at cosmopolitan readers inclined, as in premium clients of Lufthansa and is released in an edition of 200,000 copies per issue. The current issue (4/2012, EVT 1.4.2012) accompanies Dita Von Teese on a stroll through Los Angeles.

Dita, born in Rochester, Michigan in 1972, as Heather Renee Sweet, tells the readers of her favourite locations, takes us to elegant bars, gives us insider tips for shopping and talks openly about her shoe fetish and other dangerous desires.

The US-American has been an integral part in the post-modern take of the women’s lib movement, single-handedly turning seductively splashing around in an XXL-champagne glass into a widely accepted spectacle. Ever since Dita’s book was released, burlesque became something of a family sport. Cover girl, nude model, actress, advertising queen, former lover of Marilyn Manson … the woman knows what she wants.”
