Lysol. Dita being truly vintage indeed! Boardwalk Empire, anyone?
The “Art” of “Dressing like” “a lady” and spreading them for a pornographic magazine. Indeed. She won’t be seen on a stripper’s pole because apparently that is not “classy” enough for her. Key word of today is “hypocrisy” down at Sesame Street.
She started out in strip clubs and regards herself as a stripper. She’s also a pin-up and fetish model. Erotica and nudity does not automatically mean a lack of class. The human body is not something to be shunned, unless of course you’re a puritan, in which case, what are you even doing on a Dita Von Teese website?
You might look like less of an ignorant, cowardly fool if you a) educate yourself on a subject before bitching and b) leave a name, email address or link.
I have educated myself well enough about it, thank you. I know what I am talking about. And I am far from being a puritan. What I don’t like is the lousy attitude she has towards other strippers because they don’t choose to dress up what they do..because it’s all about the same thing really. The images she presents may be beautiful, but you can’t get away from it really, she’s exploiting herself, and she thinks it’s okay and is encouraging other women to do it also. I’ve woken up to this glamorisation of it. What she sells is soft porn for the masses, but sex always sells, doesn’t it?
I could reference multiple interviews where Dita directly contradicts you, which is why I again suggest educating yourself, because the thought of continuing to humour you tires me.
Once again I ask, what are you even doing on a Dita Von Teese website? If you don’t like her you have no reason to be here.
I think she contradicts herself, if you ask me, if you look a little closer to what she says and does.. and you’re mistaken if you think that I dislike Dita, because I don’t. Shock. I just refuse to blindly eat up everything she says and does, like a lot of people. She’s not infallible like the media make out. Even though I like burlesque, I know there’s a bit of snobbery that goes on amongst the burlesquer’s over the people who decide to use a stripping pole as their prop.
