Mark Miremont is an American philosopher and photographer who Dita has posed for numerous times. Much of his well known pin-up photography is available for purchase through markmiremont.com, including several Dita portraits. The above are just a sample. The first was taken at San Francisco’s iconic St Francis Hotel (where Miremont was living at the time). The second was taken at Marilyn Manson’s home in Hollywood and is also available through the members area of dita.net.

About the artist: Miremont was born in Madrid, Spain and is UCLA and Harvard educated. Miremont’s photography is perhaps what he’s best known for, with it’s instantly recognizable aesthetic. As well as Dita, KMFDM, Switchblade Symphony and Masuimi Max are among the artists and personalities Miremont has worked with, making him well respected among modern pin-up and alternative culture enthusiasts. Aside from philosophy and photography, he’s also known for filmmaking, music video directing (Soundgarden’s ‘Flower‘) and street art. The latter of which includes a series of poetic aphorisms graffitied in Los Angeles and San Francisco, before graffiti was even considered an art form.
